Responsibilities
- Execute end-of-day financial reconciliations and general ledger maintenance during overnight hours
- Prepare and analyze month-end financial statements with precision and timeliness
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and process transactions after business hours
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting and special projects
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows for overnight operations
- Support tax preparation processes and documentation during off-peak periods
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience with night shift preference
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls implementation
- Valid California driver's license for occasional late-night document transport
