As a Night Shift Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. You will handle essential accounting functions with a focus on accuracy and efficiency during our evening hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare journal entries and assist in the maintenance of the general ledger.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and verify financial data.
- Assist external auditors with data requests and documentation during the audit cycle.
- Generate financial reports and variance analyses for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience (experience in night shift environments is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night shifts.
