Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing procedures with zero tolerance for discrepancies
- Manage complex multi-state reconciliations for 200+ corporate accounts
- Prepare and analyze variance reports for executive leadership review
- Oversee automated payroll processing for 500+ employees
- Implement SOX compliance controls and audit documentation
- Collaborate with day-shift teams via secure handover protocols
- Maintain HIPAA/GDPR compliant financial data handling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with CPA/MBA preferred
- 3+ years night shift or remote accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and SAP systems
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance (KS, OK, MO)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
- Proven experience with forensic accounting techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365
