Responsibilities
- Execute month-end closing procedures including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Process high-volume accounts payable/receivable transactions during overnight hours
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis for multi-entity portfolios
- Manage payroll processing for overnight staff and contractors
- Generate financial reports and dashboards for executive review
- Ensure SOX compliance documentation is accurately maintained
- Collaborate with international teams during overlapping business hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public or corporate environment
- Proven expertise in month-end closing and reconciliation processes
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or ERP systems
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance a plus
