Responsibilities
- Execute daily accounting tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing with high accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger entries to ensure financial data integrity.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and variance analysis for management review.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documentation.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure a seamless transition of data and information.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Proven experience working the night shift or demonstrated ability to adapt to alternative schedules.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts.
