Responsibilities
- Perform daily/monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Process and record complex journal entries with precision and timeliness
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures including financial reporting
- Monitor financial transactions for anomalies and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes
- Maintain accurate documentation of all accounting activities and audit trails
- Support external audit preparations and provide requested documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with night shift preference
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and MS Excel (advanced functions)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Experience with financial audits and compliance regulations (GAAP)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
