Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll records
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements with detailed variance analysis
- Oversee bank reconciliations, expense reporting, and tax documentation compliance
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage)
- Collaborate with CFOs to develop financial forecasts and budgetary recommendations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with audit support
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP principles and IRS tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex financial systems and multi-client portfolios
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance analysis and forecasting
