Responsibilities
- Perform daily/monthly general ledger reconciliations for high-volume transactions
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Coordinate with auditors during quarterly and annual financial reviews
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processing with 99.8% accuracy
- Oversee fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
- Implement SOX controls and internal audit procedures
- Generate executive financial dashboards for senior leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- SAP or Oracle financial systems certification
- Deep understanding of NY State tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-tolerance for errors
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
