Responsibilities
- Process month-end closing procedures and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with nightly reconciliation cycles
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and statutory financial reports
- Conduct internal audits and compliance checks during off-peak hours
- Collaborate with international teams on cross-border transactions
- Maintain accurate financial records using SAP and Oracle systems
- Support payroll processing for overnight operations staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Minimum 3 years of night shift or remote accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with VBA/macros knowledge
- Strong understanding of UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Experience with multi-currency transaction processing
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Relevant night shift or shift work experience preferred
