Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end month-end closing processes including reconciliations and journal entries
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with UK GAAP standards
- Process payroll, expense reports, and vendor payments with strict accuracy protocols
- Assist with internal audits and regulatory compliance documentation
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with international teams across EMEA time zones
- Implement continuous process improvements for night shift operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/CIMA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proven night shift or remote finance work experience
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or Xero accounting systems
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-tolerance for errors
- Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP expertise
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- UK tax compliance knowledge (HMRC regulations)
