Responsibilities
- Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Process high-volume transactions and journal entries during night shift hours
- Prepare financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audits
- Monitor accounts receivable/payable cycles and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and internal controls
- Collaborate with AP/AR teams across global time zones
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in night shift accounting roles
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail with error reconciliation skills
- Proven ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Experience with multi-currency transaction processing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- UK working rights and eligibility for night shift work
