In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. You will manage daily transaction processing, perform reconciliations, and support the month-end close process during our extended hours.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify daily invoices, payments, and journal entries with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a nightly basis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and trial balances.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing procedures to meet strict deadlines.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 1-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping (night shift experience is a plus).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night shifts.
- Must be available to work a consistent night shift schedule (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM or 11 PM - 7 AM).
