Responsibilities
- Process month-end close procedures and financial reporting
- Reconcile accounts payable/receivable and general ledger accounts
- Prepare tax documents and regulatory compliance filings
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and anomalies
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks and SAP systems
- Support budget preparation and variance analysis for 50+ clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance a plus
