Responsibilities
- Assist in the analysis of financial statements and credit reports to determine the creditworthiness of applicants.
- Conduct risk assessments for new and existing loan portfolios under the guidance of senior analysts.
- Prepare detailed credit memos summarizing findings and recommendations for loan approval.
- Maintain accurate records in our credit management system and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to provide timely insights to the credit committee.
- Communicate with clients to request necessary documentation and clarify financial inquiries.
- Support the team with ad-hoc financial reporting and data entry tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Graduates welcome).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables and VLOOKUP are a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Aptitude for numbers and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced financial environment.
- U.S. work authorization required.
