Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day bookkeeping operations for our diverse client base across the UK.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process invoices, expenses, and payments in line with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks).
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve any discrepancies.
Qualifications
- No prior bookkeeping or accounting experience is required; we provide full training.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English are essential.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data entry.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a UK office setting.
- Enthusiasm to learn and adapt to new accounting software.
