Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Receive, verify, and accurately code vendor invoices for payment within agreed-upon terms.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions in our ERP system.
- Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling accounts payable statements and resolving discrepancies with vendors.
- Reporting: Generate and review monthly AP reports to support the finance department's workflow.
- Vendor Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding billing inquiries and document requests.
- File Management: Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems for financial documents.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an administrative or finance role preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
- Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal teams and external vendors.
- Computer Literacy: Comfortable learning new financial software and accounting systems.
