Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable invoices in a timely manner.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with general ledger activities.
- Support the accounting team during internal audits and year-end close processes.
- Organize and file financial documents and receipts for easy retrieval.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a CPA/CPA track).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with team members.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
