Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements.
- Prepare and distribute basic financial reports and variance analyses.
- Assist with tax preparation documentation and compliance.
- Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships and academic projects considered).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite).
- Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
