Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monthly financial close procedures.
- Process weekly payroll for a diverse client base.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing requirements.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding financial inquiries.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
