Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger entries.
- Support the audit process by gathering documentation and answering auditor inquiries.
- Reconcile credit card statements and employee expense reports.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis under supervision.
- Maintain organized and secure filing systems for financial records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables are a plus).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new software systems quickly.
