Responsibilities
- Assist with daily data entry and verification of financial transactions.
- Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable departments with processing invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and organize basic financial reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Maintain and file physical and electronic financial records.
- Perform ad-hoc accounting tasks as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- No prior accounting experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
