Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks and data entry.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Prepare basic financial reports and ledgers under supervision.
- Support the accounting team with month-end close processes.
- File and organize invoices, receipts, and financial documents.
- Learn and operate accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
- Respond to general accounting inquiries from internal departments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
