Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily maintenance of general ledger accounts and financial records.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures under the guidance of senior staff.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare basic financial reports, spreadsheets, and analyses for management review.
- Support the tax department with the collection and organization of financial documentation.
- Conduct audits of expense reports and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships or entry-level roles highly considered).
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
