Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily bookkeeping and maintenance of accurate financial records.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card account reviews.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices in a timely manner.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and general ledger entries.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and audit schedules.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both digital and physical documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
