Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and accounts payable/receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain basic financial reports, spreadsheets, and ledgers.
- Support the senior accounting team with month-end close procedures.
- Organize and maintain accurate physical and digital financial records.
- Assist with the preparation of tax documents and compliance filings under supervision.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in financial data.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
