Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping and financial record maintenance.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare basic financial reports, expense summaries, and ledgers.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes under supervision.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and audits as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong math skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry) is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
