Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers using our accounting software.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual accounts, ensuring all figures are correct.
- Process invoices, expenses, and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with HMRC regulations.
- Support the finance team with the month-end close procedures.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial reporting and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree (Accounting, Finance, Business) or completion of AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) Level 2 or 3 is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
- Full UK work eligibility is required.
