Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Assist in maintaining and reconciling the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, verify transactions, and ensure timely payments to vendors while maintaining healthy cash flow.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Compliance & Auditing: Help prepare audit schedules and ensure all financial records are organized and accessible for internal and external audits.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and contribute to the efficiency of the finance department.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or currently pursuing CPA/ACCA certification).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role or internship experience (entry level).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) is highly preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Soft Skills: Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
