In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing. Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly cash flow reports.
- Process payroll accurately using our proprietary HR system.
- Support the tax preparation process by gathering necessary documentation and schedules.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Conduct expense audits and assist in the month-end close process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required (or currently pursuing a CPA track).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (internships accepted).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
