Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage complex month-end and year-end closing processes with attention to detail
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives for multiple client portfolios
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to leadership
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations and ensure timely resolution of findings
- Maintain accurate financial records using NetSuite and QuickBooks platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks) and MS Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
- Proven experience managing month-end closing processes and reconciliations
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with competing priorities
