Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies.
- Support the finance team with data entry, filing, and maintaining organized financial records.
- Assist with the preparation of payroll data and expense reports.
- Participate in internal and external audits by providing requested documentation.
- Utilize accounting software to track financial transactions and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Willingness to obtain relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) after gaining experience.
