Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Financial Data Entry: Maintain and update our financial databases using advanced accounting software.
- Support Month-End Close: Assist the senior team in preparing trial balances and necessary adjustments.
- Document Management: Organize and file financial records, tax documents, and compliance paperwork efficiently.
- Reporting: Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management review.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy when working with numerical data and spreadsheets.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP are a plus).
- Software Familiarity: Basic familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a plus but not required.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Integrity: High ethical standards and a professional demeanor.
