Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operation of the general ledger, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures to ensure financial accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, for management review.
- Process and maintain accurate employee expense reports and invoices.
- Support the Senior Accountant with budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
- Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
