Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of monthly financial statements and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile credit card statements.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process by compiling necessary data and supporting schedules.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Conduct basic financial analysis and assist in the development of budget reports.
- Maintain and organize financial records and filing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (0-2 years of experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and financial terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
