Role Overview:
You will support the accounting department in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and preparing reports. We value accuracy, integrity, and a proactive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify daily invoices and journal entries to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial filing systems.
- Support the month-end close process by gathering necessary data.
- Assist external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Perform general clerical accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships are highly considered).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
