Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable & Payable: Process invoices, handle payments, and maintain accurate records.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in updating and maintaining the company's general ledger accounts.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Payroll Assistance: Help process payroll data and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: No prior professional experience is required. We provide on-the-job training.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of accounting principles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to spot errors.
