Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Support the audit process by gathering and organizing financial documentation.
- Assist in payroll processing and tax filing preparation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
