As a Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting our senior team with various accounting functions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all discrepancies are resolved.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Organize and maintain financial files and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role (internships welcome).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
