Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of credit applications, financial statements, and collateral to determine creditworthiness and risk levels.
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and recommendations for approval committees.
- Monitor and review existing loan portfolios to identify early warning signs of default.
- Collaborate with underwriting teams and sales representatives to structure financing solutions tailored to client needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Utilize specialized financial software and analytical tools to model scenarios and forecast outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree required).
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or financial risk assessment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data modeling.
- Experience with loan origination software and financial database management systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client and team interaction.
