Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions using quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budgets and manage stakeholder communications for strategic initiatives
- Pioneer open innovation ecosystems through university partnerships and startup accelerators
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board members for quarterly portfolio reviews
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record scaling technologies from concept to market leadership
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuro-adjacent AI
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Business Strategy
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ successful tech commercialization initiatives
- Certification in futures methodology (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Technology Roadmapping)
- Experience securing >$1M in R&D funding
