Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and credit applications to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify potential delinquencies or collection issues
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on regulatory compliance (FCRA, BSA/AML) and industry best practices
- Develop financial models for stress testing and scenario analysis
- Present findings to senior leadership with actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and ratio interpretation
- Strong proficiency in Excel and credit software (e.g., Moody's, Fiserv)
- CFRA or CFA designation highly desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail and quantitative reasoning skills
