Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth credit analysis for commercial loan applications using financial statements, cash flow projections, and industry benchmarks
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessment reports with clear recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early identification of potential risks
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on regulatory changes (FHA, SBA, commercial lending guidelines)
- Present findings to credit committees with data-driven insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, financial modeling)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks
