Responsibilities
- Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes and financial reporting
- Manage multi-entity accounting systems and ensure GAAP compliance
- Lead budgeting processes and variance analysis for key stakeholders
- Supervise AP/AR functions and optimize cash flow management
- Prepare tax documentation and support external audits
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Mentor junior accounting staff and cross-departmental teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and MS Excel (Advanced functions)
- Proven track record of managing complex financial statements and audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in high-volume environments
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Ability to thrive in immediate-start situations with minimal onboarding
