Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 300+ employees across multiple states
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit deductions
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns and year-end forms (W-2, 1099)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with payroll audits and internal controls
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS system
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, wage garnishment laws, and tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- CPP or FPC certification preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
