Responsibilities
- Payroll Processing: Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations (e.g., FLSA, Ohio Revised Code)
- Time & Attendance Integration: Synchronize data with Kronos timekeeping system
- Benefits Administration: Manage 401(k), health insurance, and other deductions
- Reconciliation & Audits: Conduct quarterly payroll audits and bank reconciliations
- Employee Support: Resolve payroll inquiries within SLA timeframe
- System Optimization: Implement process improvements using Excel VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
Qualifications
- Core Expertise: Minimum 3 years payroll processing experience with ADP systems
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and HRIS familiarity
- Compliance Knowledge: Proven track record with multi-state payroll tax regulations
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve discrepancies with 100% accuracy
- Communication: Exceptional written/verbal skills for stakeholder interactions
- Certification: CPP or FPC certification preferred
- Urgency: Capacity to start within 7 days of offer
