Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments with precision
- Prepare and file federal/state payroll tax returns and year-end forms (W-2/1099)
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Support HR with onboarding paperwork and compensation inquiries
- Stay current on FLSA, DOL, and state labor regulations
- Collaborate with finance team for GL reconciliations and reporting
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP, QuickBooks, or similar payroll systems
- Strong understanding of multi-state tax laws and compliance requirements
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Proven problem-solving skills for payroll discrepancies
- CPP or FPC certification preferred
