Responsibilities
- Process semi-monthly payroll for salaried and hourly employees
- Manage time and attendance systems and reconcile discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Administer garnishments, deductions, and benefit deductions
- Prepare payroll reports for finance and HR leadership
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve employee issues
- Conduct payroll audits and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of CA labor laws and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- CPP or FPC certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
