Responsibilities
- Analyze creditworthiness of commercial and individual clients through financial statement review and risk assessment
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports with actionable recommendations for approval or denial
- Monitor existing portfolios for delinquency trends and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure credit facilities aligned with client needs and risk parameters
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (FCRA, ECOA) and internal credit policies
- Utilize credit scoring models and software to quantify risk exposure
- Present complex financial data clearly to senior stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of direct credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and credit assessment software
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
