Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare trial balances.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll and ensure all tax filings are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of US tax regulations and payroll processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent professional certification (e.g., NACPB).
