Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for multiple clients using QuickBooks and Xero.
- Prepare and send monthly invoices and collect outstanding payments.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Maintain and organize a digital and physical filing system for all financial documents.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and audits as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Pro/Online, Xero, or FreshBooks).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and Word.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors quickly.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (local travel may be required).
